Enact By-laws 1-8

Bylaw 1 was from the public hearing on May 7, 2024. Councillor Claston, Montague and myself were absent for this item at the public hearing and Councillor Maloney and or were not on council at the time of this public hearing. Councillor Claston, have you reviewed the proceedings and will you be voting on the enactment? I have and I will. Councillor Maloney? Councillor Montague? Councillor Orr? I have not and I will not. Bylaw two was from the public hearing on November the 13th, 2025. Councillors Bly, Fry and myself were absent for this item at the public hearing. Councillor Bligh, have you reviewed the proceedings and will you be voting on the enactment?

And I have not and I will not. Bylaw number three was from the public hearing on December the 14th, 2023. I was absent for this item at the public hearing and Councillors Maloney and Orr were not on council at the time of this public hearing. Great. Councillor Orr? Great. And I have not and I will not. Bylaw 4 was from the public hearing on July the 10th, 2025. Councillor Montague was absent for this item at the public hearing. Councillor Montague, have you reviewed the proceedings and will you be voting on the enactment? All right, thank you. Would someone like to move the motion to adopt bylaws one through eight? Great, Councillor Domenato, seconded by Councillor Claston. Council is during the discussion. All those in favour say yay. All those opposed say nay. Great, the motion carries unanimously. A reminder to please state the title of the motion and the date of the standing committee meeting on which you intend to move the motion. The first is proactively protecting residents from dangerous heat, and the second is evaluating Vancouver's waste collection system's potential to adapt as our city grows. Thank you very much.
