Thank you. I have submitted just recently in writing, so we will take some time for the staff to bring those up. I have looked at, listened intently to the speakers this evening and have identified a number of different amendments. So there's a few there, but it's not very wordy. Just a...

Okay, we'll just wait for, if it's easy, you could tell us what some of them are, what you heard tonight, and what parts you'll be changing, and then we can see it. So what did you hear tonight that motivated you to make changes?

Well, like my colleague, Commissioner Hare, the desire that more needs to be invested. And so, you know, it's interesting just listening to... the community discussion over the last, well, since this has been made public, the significance of what $1.35 billion sounds like. But those that are coming to speak to us talks about how that number is still quite shy of some of the goals that we would like to accomplish. And so... The first thing is to request a greater number. So still trying to be fiscally enough responsible that this will get through city council's door. And it is looking at a $1.63 billion investment in our community amenities, our parks, our facilities. It looks at supporting revenue generating and community serving assets including golf and food and beverage services. It does boost the number specifically for aquatics and for community centre investment. It identifies within the Britannia Community Centre that a covered skate park is a desired amenity. So to look at that as being part of that planning coming forward. Further, to look at the golf services infrastructure and also a commitment to our concession and food and beverage infrastructure. Further in there, I didn't highlight it, I apologize for you guys, that... Where did I put this? Sorry, sorry, sorry. I wanted to pay so much attention to everybody while writing this. Ah, here it is. And in our park building, our partnership, again, investment in the Kitsilano Showboat and the Brock House as well. So really trying to address the concerns that were raised this evening, really trying to showcase that this board values and appreciates the feedback being provided by the community providers. You know, the group of people that came here this evening, they represented themselves, but, you know, I think more than three quarters represented a group much larger than themselves. And so really hopeful that these amendments are on the board. You guys give me more time to talk since they're taking longer. But again, really recognizing that the community has spoken. They've been speaking for the last three and a half years. As a commissioner, as a candidate going back four years ago, I knocked on doors saying that we wanted to invest in our aging infrastructure. ran on a promise of an emergency restoration fund. That was an expectation that I hope to fulfill during those first three years. But that expectation and that commitment needed partnership with another elected group. This time again, I'm going to push forth and look to honour my promise and my commitment and really provide services. Today we had an 11-year-old coming to speak. There are so many 11-year-olds across this city that hope to have amenities for themselves in their teens, not in their 20s, not in their 40s, not in their 50s. And so we need to be, to borrow a word from somebody earlier today, we need to be bold And this plan is to be bold.

Thank you, Commissioner. We are just about to go live with all these multiple small amendments throughout. It's going to be a bit confusing for commissioners to read it. Yes. So everything is going to be in red that has changed. So, Commissioners, can you see it on your screen there? The total number has moved up to $1.63 billion, which presumably is a mathematical adjustment. On this first Section A, we see that park buildings, including Kitsilano Showboat and Brock House, have been added. to supported okay any comments commissioners we'll go on to the next slide when you're ready and here we've changed the number commitment to recreation facilities of 1.28 billion which is presumably a mathematical addition of the additions and support revenue generating and community serving assets, including golf and food and beverage service.

Aquatic facilities has moved up to $250 million. Community centres has moved up to $400 million.

Britannia has added in a covered skate park, which we heard about. And at the down in seven we've added a commitment of 27 million for golf services infrastructure Renewal and modernization and then eight is a commitment of four million for concessions and food and beverage infrastructure Renewal strategic modernization Now commissioner. Did you want to strike at the end? I just wanted to make a friendly amendment at the end of five Okay. Sorry. That is the motion as it stands. There's actually two further...

Okay. Yeah. So do commissioners have any questions to the commissioner about the motion that's on the table, the amendments that are on the table? Speaking to the amendments.

I'm looking... Nope. That's...

Their silence is affirmation.

The amendments are self-explanatory, and they respond directly to what people have said at the table. And I would like to move an amendment to the amendment.

Okay, yeah. Do we need a seconder?

Can we have a seconder for the amendment? Commissioner Bastiwanski, the amendment is seconded. And now I'm calling for an amendment to the amendment, which is at the end of line five, it says estimated in-kind value of $200 million. But that is not actually a taxpayer-funded amount. And in my opinion, that's an error in the initial calculation. So my amendment would be to strike out the phrase estimated in-kind value of $200 million. and then reduce the corresponding high-level numbers at the top to 1.08 billion instead of 1.28 billion.

and make a corresponding correction to the total number, which is on the part A of the further, which is said 1.63 and should be moved down to 1.43. We're saving money already.

So that is an amendment to the amendment. Are there any questions on the amendment to the amendment?

Seeing none.

I don't see any questions on the amendment to the amendment. Is there a seconder? I see Commissioner Jensen has seconded that motion. So we'll now vote on the amendment to the amendment. All those in favor, please raise your hand.

I see Commissioner Bastiwanski, Commissioner Jensen, Commissioner Digby. All those opposed, please raise your hand. All those abstaining, please raise your hand. Commissioner Christensen abstains. Thank you, Commissioners. The amendment to the amendment is adopted. Now moving to the overall amendment.

Is the clerk satisfied we're at the right stage? Yeah. Okay. So are there comments on the amendment to the motion? This is not your final comments. Comments on the amendment? Any questions? Comments?

Seeing no comments, we will call a vote on the amendments. All those in favor of the amendment, please raise your hand. I see Commissioner Basavansky, Commissioner Jensen, Commissioner Digby. All those abstaining, please raise your hand. I see Commissioner Christensen, and with none opposed, the motion passes.

Thank you, commissioners. We'll now vote on the motion as amended.

And looking around the room, we'll ask, are there any other amendments from commissioners?

Then we'll move to comments of the commissioners. We have an important motion before us. We've heard from over 60 members of the community, and we've received many letters, and we have an important mission as commissioners. I'd like to ask Commissioner Bastiwanski to speak first to the motion that he moved.
