Does that all make sense?

Okay. Seeing no one else in the queue, we will bring the amendment to the amendment to a vote.

Great. And that passes unanimously. Okay. So we're going to go back to the amendment queue. Councillor Orr, any other comments? No, that's it. Okay.

Seeing no one else in the queue, we will put... Great. Oh, sorry, that just popped up. Councillor Maloney.

I just want to clarify that I really do think that rental housing is a benefit to the community and it would benefit this community and I'm pretty concerned about that requiring further modifications of this may make it less likely that it precedes So that's my concern. Thanks.

Thank you very much. Councillor Meiszner.

Yeah, just wanted to follow up on my colleague's comments. I understand the concern, but I mentioned in my comments previously that... We need housing, but it can't be housing at any cost. And I think this is a thoughtful approach. Instead of, you know, killing the project, sending it back to staff and having the applicant come back with something that is going to respond better to the community's needs. And I think we've heard clearly in the council chamber here some of the amenity challenges in this neighbourhood. and also that a project of this size and scale needs to deliver more community benefits. So I'm happy with where this landed, and I'm happy to support the referral back. And looking forward to seeing an improved project come back to Council for our consideration. Thanks.

Thank you very much.

Okay. Seeing no one else in the queue, we will bring the amendment as amended twice.

Clerk 12:26:31

Sorry, to the refer, I mean to a vote.

And that passes with Councillor Maloney abstaining. Okay, so that completes item number one.

Thank you, everyone.

So the next item is item number five, correct?

Report number five, I should say.
