Yes, the following is a summary of correspondence sent to commissioners related to the topics on the park board meeting agendas this report only reflects community quick communications received between February 23rd 2026 and March 9th 2026 up until 12 p.m. Via the contact the park board commissioners web form as well as the park board commissioner emails all communications sent through this means have been shared with the commissioners and In relation to the Park Board Committee agenda this evening, the Queen Elizabeth Park Attractions Business Opportunity received 47 letters of support, 90 letters of opposition, and two... noted as other. There was a total of 139 correspondence received for that item. The Lost Lagoon title reconnection concept received two letters of support, three letters of opposition, and one titled other with a total of six. Good evening, Commissioners. I'm happy to introduce a presentation that highlights the best of both components included in the Board of Parks and Recreation's name. It should be noted that it's not the Board of Parks or Recreation. The combination of parks and recreation underscores the need to blend the best of both worlds. providing access to nature in our parks and opportunities for fun and entertainment in those spaces. That combination of parks and recreation is captured perfectly in the Queen Elizabeth Park Attractions Program. The attraction will provide an immersive nature-based experience for guests, enable new ways to educate the public about nature's timeless importance, and provide a new tool for the park board to think big and maintain financial sustainability in uncertain economic times.
