Summary

• Amendment to the Granville Street Planning Program motion: added direction to fast-track hotel development applications concurrently with the planning program (referencing FIFA 2026 and hotel room shortage); directed advance processing of the 800–876 Granville rezoning application to public hearing as soon as possible; expanded the interim rezoning policy to include applicants who received written PEP advice within one year and filed within 180 days, and to permit rezonings where at least 75% of FSR is proposed as hotel use.
